Secret Systems Engineer Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr Systems engineer to support a large government customer. This person will serve as the technical lead to oversee the windows infrastructure and be responsible for patching, updating and any future migrations. This person will also work with the customer and the network lead to drive implementation and progression of new capabilities and tools in the environment.

• Design and implement enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, storage, networking, and infrastructure components.
• Analyze system requirements and define technology solutions to meet current and future business needs.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Document infrastructure design, configurations, processes, and issues to track system health and operational status.
• Support application development teams with system integration, new technologies, and requirements planning.
• Design and implement security measures to safeguard organizational data, networks, and systems.
• Ensure infrastructure projects comply with security standards and integrate seamlessly with existing applications.
• Plan for system scalability and future technology needs.
• Apply expertise in infrastructure, application programming, and web/software applications to resolve complex technical challenges.

• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT II or higher
• 10+ Years of experience managing a large windows environment
• 5+ Years of automation experience using Power Shell, ansible and Bash
• 5+ years of experience with ACAS and STIGs
