Description of the Position

In a context of transformation of digital usages (rise of LLMs, evolution of Google SERP, transformation of Social Media platforms as research platforms), we are looking for an apprentice Data Analyst capable of deciphering these changes and measuring their business impacts for Accor.

Main mission

Within the e-commerce teams, the Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, modeling, and anticipating the impacts of the evolutions of the research ecosystems in order to sensitize the different teams to the changes to come and to enlighten strategic decisions through data.

His/her mission is structured around the following pillars:

1. Strategic watch & analysis of market trends:

  • Conduct active monitoring of the evolutions of digital ecosystems (LLMs, SERP, Social Media, Agentic Shopping/Commerce)
  • Identify new actors, emerging uses, and market signals
  • Carry out regular benchmarks (platform features, positioning, market innovations)
  • Analyze and anticipate their potential impacts
  • Synthesize and disseminate key insights internally (via our internal channels ex: Teams)

2. Analysis & follow-up of the transformation of the digital ecosystem paid or organic (current vision):

  • Follow the evolution of the uses related to the search of current partners (Search, LLMs, Social Media, new emerging platforms example: Reddit)
  • Define and follow the new KPIs related to these evolutions
  • Favor the use of new monitoring platforms (example Get Mint)
  • Measure the business impacts of these evolutions for the group (for example: traffic, conversion, visibility, acquisition of new customers…)
  • Set up regular follow-up and reporting tools to support decision-making

3. Modeling & estimation of impacts (short/medium and long term vision related to paid or organic solutions):

  • Estimate the potential impacts of transformations (ex: evolution of SEO, rise of LLMs, new user journeys via agentic commerce)
  • Build analysis and projection models
  • Develop scenarios of evolution (short, medium, long term)
  • Accompany the different teams in the understanding of the issues related to these transformations through data

4. Contribution to structuring initiatives identified in the Decentralized Search Experience (D-SEE) project paid or organic:

  • Provide analytical expertise in the deployment of POC / Alpha / Beta with partners and platforms
  • Define KPIs and success criteria in advance of tests and measure their performance
  • Collaborate with Product, Digital Marketing, Media, SEO teams, etc. to disseminate learnings
  • Share learnings to integrate if necessary into roadmaps
  • Follow up and update D-SEE scorecards for all streams:
    1. Indexation, 2. Measurement, 3. Distribution and 4. Partners.

Qualifications

Profile sought:

  • Training in data, data analysis, or equivalent
  • First experience (internship or apprenticeship) as a Data Analyst, ideally in a digital environment)
  • Strong interest in subjects related to Digital, research, and new technologies (LLM, AI, Social Media)
  • Analytical, structured mind, with an ability to formulate hypotheses and structure complex topics
  • Good understanding of digital channels (SEO, Social Media, Acquisition…)
  • Ability to understand complex and rapidly transforming ecosystems
  • Strong digital culture
  • Fluent English
