As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you’ll unlock secrets in data sets across IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, helping solve global challenges.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, dig into data‑rich environments, develop algorithms and systems, and provide deep insights that enable informed decision making.

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining.
• 2+ years of experience with statistical and general‑purpose programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualizations of targeted data sources.
• Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing.
• Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2+ years of experience developing algorithms using R, Python, or SQL and No
  
  SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with distributed data or computing tools (Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL).
• 2+ years of experience with machine learning, AI, or NLP.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with visualization packages (Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2).
• Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or engineering field; master’s preferred.
• Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance (if required).

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation; secret clearance is required. Eligible candidates may be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Annual salary range: $77,600 to $176,000. Benefits include health, life, disability, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for benefit programs.
