Job Title

Learning Technology Administrator

Location

San Diego, CA

Responsibilities
  • Administration, configuration, and optimization of the Docebo Learning Management System (LMS) and the Skillsoft Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to support a global user population.
  • Development and maintenance of workflows for course enrollments, certifications, and completions in both platforms.
  • Ensuring a seamless learning experience for all users across global regions by overseeing technical aspects, resolving issues, and implementing improvements.
  • Administration and configuration of the Docebo LMS and Skillsoft LXP to ensure optimal performance, user accessibility, and integration with other platforms (including HRIS, SSO, etc.).
  • Generation and analysis of regular system usage reports, learner progress, and completion data from both platforms.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for end-users across all regions regarding system functionality, course availability, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Resolving system bugs, user access issues, and report generation errors in a timely manner.
  • Providing training and support to system users—including administrators, managers, and employees—to ensure smooth adoption of new features and enhancements.
  • Conducting regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of user information and learning records.
  • Leading the implementation of system upgrades, new features, and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with HR Technology, HRBPs, Power Users, and other stakeholders/departments to align the systems with organizational learning goals and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with third‑party vendors to troubleshoot issues, elevate concerns, and plan for system updates or enhancements.
  • Serving as the global HR resource for all LMS training activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role involving learning technology platforms in the Healthcare, Biotech, or Medical Technology industry.
  • Experience with the following, each for at least 3 years:
    • Learning Management System (LMS) focused on Docebo—system configuration, content management, and reporting.
    • Learning Experience Platform (LXP) focused on Skillsoft—system configuration, content management, and learner analytics reporting.
    • Resolving technical LMS issues for the user population.
    • Execution of at least one full‑lifecycle rollout of an LMS platform, including system setup, configuration, integration with existing architecture, administrator support and training, and communication to and training of user populations.
    • Project management experience related to LMS platforms.
    • Data analytics and generation of reports from LMS/LXP platforms to track learner performance and engagement.
    • Integration of learning platforms (such as LMS or LXP systems) with other enterprise applications, including HRIS.
    • Communication of technical concepts or requirements to non‑technical stakeholders.
    • Support of system users globally—including Greater China, India, South America, Europe, and North America.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Compensation

The annual base salary range for this full‑time position is $83,500 - $111,250.
