Location: Remote
Optomi, in partnership with a leading multi‑brand service provider, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support and evolve a large-scale AWS environment spanning 48 AWS accounts and 21 brands under one umbrella. This role is highly hands‑on and focused on AWS infrastructure optimization, Terraform improvements, Kubernetes (EKS) management, and API‑driven system communication.
You’ll join a small, collaborative cloud team responsible for keeping environments secure, scalable, and aligned with AWS best practices while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives.

- Hands‑on experience with AWS, especially EKS, RDS, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure as code.
- Kubernetes administration experience (EKS).
- Experience supporting API‑based system integrations.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and deployments.
- Experience with GCP, particularly for web analytics.
- Familiarity with Druva for cloud backups.
- Experience improving AWS tagging and cleanup strategies.
- Manage, operate, and optimize AWS infrastructure across a multi‑account enterprise environment.
- Administer and support Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Terraform infrastructure‑as‑code, including module optimization and tagging standards.
- Support and manage Azure Dev Ops deployment pipelines for cloud and application workloads.
- Ensure reliable and secure API communication between distributed systems supporting multiple business units.
- Administer and support AWS RDS environments, including performance monitoring and best‑practice configuration.
- Enforce AWS best practices, security guardrails, and a deny‑all security model across environments.
- Assist with cloud backup strategies, including migration and support of Druva and S3‑based backups.
