We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure for a top client of ours. This role blends hands‑on infrastructure engineering with architectural leadership, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and modern container‑based platforms in AWS.
You will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to define cloud standards, enable developer productivity, and ensure our cloud environments are reliable, cost‑effective, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud‑native architectures on AWS
- Lead infrastructure engineering efforts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and cloud blueprints
- Develop automation and tooling using Python
- Architect and support container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
- Establish best practices for security, scalability, availability, and cost optimization
- Partner with application teams to enable CI/CD and cloud adoption
- Review designs, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership
- Troubleshoot complex cloud and infrastructure issues
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering
- Strong expertise with AWS services and architecture patterns
- Deep hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling
- Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity in cloud environments
- Experience designing highly available and scalable systems
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, or similar)
- Experience with Git Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops practices
- Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Experience supporting multi‑account or multi‑region AWS environments
This role is direct hire and fully remote, candidates will be expected to work EST hours. (Not open to third parties or C2C)
