Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to build and evolve cloud infrastructure that bridges IT and business needs while strengthening security and governance. You will implement reference architectures, run proofs of concept, and contribute to the target-state roadmap—apply now to help shape our AWS foundation.

Responsibilities Build and evolve AWS infrastructure aligned with organizational architecture guidelines

Implement reference architectures that support business and IT stakeholders

Build and run proofs of concept to validate proposed reference architectures

Apply infrastructure and security guidelines in collaboration with solution architects, development teams, and Dev Sec Ops Contribute  to the roadmap toward the organization's target-state infrastructure architecture

Research current and emerging technologies to close gaps and strengthen engineering practices

Create solution prototypes that validate and demonstrate reference architecture approaches

Requirements3+ years of experience building and evolving AWS infrastructure3+ years of experience with event-driven architectures and microservices3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including module development

Strong collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and help align IT with business needs

Ability to contribute to a target-state infrastructure roadmap

Familiarity with architecture governance to align implementations with organizational standards

Infrastructure and security standards knowledge to work effectively with solution architects, development teams, and Dev Sec Ops Kubernetes  knowledge for container orchestration concepts and practices AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification

Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have

Java knowledge with Spring Boot Node.js knowledge

Python knowledge

Go knowledge

Residence in Medellín or the surrounding metropolitan area
