Missions

Mission et activités :

The individual is placed under the direct responsibility of the bureau chief and his deputies.

Their mission will be to:

• Participate in the implementation of the rules of accommodation and cabling as well as their evolution;

• Ensure compliance with the rules in the different computer spaces operated by the sub-directorate. Conducting the upgrade operations if necessary;

• Install the IT equipment in the bay and ensure their cabling;

• Update the cabling;

• Update the wire book and the corresponding cartography;

• Update the inventory of machines in production with their location;

• Carry out/accompany, as appropriate, proximity gestures on IT equipment (replacement of memory bars, card, etc.);

• Contact the competent service within the GIC for ground load and electrical intensity aspects;

• In liaison with stock managers, monitor the stock of system and network equipment;

• Work on the capitalization of knowledge (procedures, documentation);

• Accompany the stakeholders in the rooms.

They will be required to intervene in an interministerial environment on projects with high criticality requiring high availability with the possibility of on-call duty or off-hours depending on the operational needs of the service.

They accompany projects as the responsible person for the urbanization of computer rooms, plan and follow the integration activity in relation with the other offices.

Work mainly in server rooms or distribution rooms. Occasional missions throughout the territory are to be expected.

Education and experience

Level 5 education (equivalent to Bac +
2) and having a successful first experience in the field.

Skills

- Organization: sense of organization, prioritization of requests, documentation, alert reporting, room management tool (DCIM);

• Administration, exploitation and MCO of systems: proximity gestures for IT equipment. Knowledge of what servers, firewalls, switches, etc. are;

• SSI: required awareness;

• Ability to report.
