Product Solutions Specialist

Location: United States – San Diego

We are seeking a Product Solutions Specialist to support the development, implementation, and operation of the Academy’s product and web solutions. The role collaborates across the organization to manage technology requests, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure policies and training promote effective use of tools such as Zoho One, Access Plan It, the Academy website, and Happeo.

The position is open until filled. Initial application review is scheduled for July 27, 2026. The starting salary range for this position is $6,006.00 – $6,510.00 per month, based on qualifications, and is non‑negotiable.

Product Solutions Development and Implementation (65%)

• Initiate and lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement for all business product solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of technology solution projects through acquisition and implementation stages.
• Review incoming technology requests: new platforms, enhancements, and recommendations.
• Maintain a catalog of technology tools and guide staff on appropriate use.
• Participate in the technology acquisition process: define requirements, create vendor evaluation forms, meet vendors, review solutions, and contribute to decisions.
• Support implementation: scoping, prioritization, team building, role definition, and planning for sustainable operations.

Product Administration Support (30%)

• Policy and Procedural Governance
  • Lead and maintain product system administration policies and procedures.
  • Guide teams on creating operational policies aligned with overall governance.
  • Develop and monitor data quality assurance and cleaning procedures.
• Training and Development
  • Create and lead training plans during implementation.
  • Develop ongoing resources for staff and external partners.
• Ongoing Operational Support
  • Define and manage vendor SLA management.
  • Lead liaison efforts with vendor support to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Provide high‑level vendor support when needed.

Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

• Perform other duties that benefit the Academy.
• Travel to off‑site meetings primarily in Riverside and San Diego.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience.

• Experience administering and developing solutions for CRM, database, or similar systems.
• Experience with Zoho One administration and implementation.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, Deluge, SQL, and No
  
  SQL.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for web support.
• Experience developing APIs and integration solutions.
• Expertise in data management policies, quality assurance, and cleanup.
• Experience developing reporting solutions for external partners.

• Candidate must reside in California and be within commuting distance of SDSU.
