Involves the development and implementation of strategy and network development across the medical center and the health system. Includes hospital and physician network development, joint ventures, outreach initiatives and clinical enterprise business development. Builds relationships with new providers and develops Epic deployment methodologies to increase market footprint, while reducing the cost for UCSDH. Develops multiple methods and services to strengthen relationships and meet the needs of physicians in the marketplace.
This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote.
Minimum Qualifications- Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Related experience:
Community Connect affiliates and supporting technology infrastructure. - Experience and advanced knowledge of health care industry trends, with advanced knowledge of the medical center or health system's product lines and services.
- Advanced interpersonal communication, relationship building and political acumen skills.
- Certified or proficient in at least 2 Epic areas, and preferably include Epic security.
- Good understanding of UCSD's Epic infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
- Ability to project manage large to small size affiliate Epic go-lives.
- Ability to establish policies and procedures for Epic infrastructure deployment methodologies for external organizations.
- Have advanced knowledge of various technologies outside of Epic to meet the needs of the physicians in the marketplace.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 - $204,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $51.77 - $98.13

The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
