• 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in a technical role which requires technical thinking and converting technical aspects into requirements.
• Must be able to qualify and maintain clearance to work on a U.S. military installation.
• Experience in an AGILE environment with constantly changing goals, timelines and resources.
• Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
• Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
• Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Visio.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of working time.
• Technical understanding of web-based applications, relational databases and EDI technology is a plus.
• Experience working with Department of Defense is a plus.
• Knowledge of environmental and/or logistics processes is a plus.

• Work with key project stakeholders and the customer/end user to understand the overall business vision for a project and translate that into actionable objectives.
• Provide a communication conduit between the business and technical community by interpreting and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Comprehend and document requirements from multiple stakeholders and conceptualize solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of current systems and processes and analyze the impact of changes as new solutions are introduced to the environment.
• Collaborate directly with business owners, sales, QA and development teams.
• Collaborate with other business analysts to manage interdependencies across the product suite.
• Assist in developing and validating test plans.
• Develop and provide product presentations and/or training to existing customers, and potential customers.
• Travel may be required.

Work is generally performed inside an office environment.

The specialist may be required to complete training courses identified by Sphera and/or the government site as essential to job performance and may include (but not limited to) the following: HMMS Suite Training, Sphera Corporation Training, Government Required Training.

$77,000.00 - $ + Eligible for Variable Compensation Plan commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience.
