Infor LN Consultant – Planning (MPS/MRP)

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Infor LN functional consultant specializing in enterprise planning, with strong expertise in MPS, MRP, and planning master data management, to design, configure, and stabilize LN planning processes to support manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Core Responsibilities- Lead design and optimization of planning processes, including MPS, MRP, forecasting, and supply/demand balancing.
- Configure and maintain LN planning parameters, item planning setup, and master data structures critical to planning accuracy.
- Ensure integrity and alignment of planning master data (items, lead times, order policies, supply sources) to support MRP execution.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting for planning issues such as shortages, incorrect signals, and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (planning, procurement, manufacturing) to align LN solutions with operational workflows.
- Support implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across LN planning modules.
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in planning/manufacturing domains.
- Deep expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
- Deep expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Deep expertise in planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply‑demand balancing.
- Strong understanding of planning master data structures and dependencies (item planning data, order policies, horizons, planners).
- Experience in multi‑site or global manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Onsite role – San Diego, CA.
- 5 days per week in office (no remote option).
- Requires close collaboration with business and IT teams on‑site.
