WordPress CSS Expert

1parkplace is looking for an experienced CSS expert to transform our graphic designs into amazing Word Press websites and template collection. We’re interested in efficient self-starters who also work well in a team environment.

Primary involvement will be focusing on developing both custom and template site implementation for both desktop and mobile website applications.

You must have the ability to take projects from the early stages of concept to implementation and have keen insight into the trends on the Internet. The ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, problem solve and deliver against a tight deadline is essential.

This is a permanent position with an established team.

• Ideally a strong understanding of the Thesis Word Press framework
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently, meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
• Strong verbal and communication skills

• Word Press CSS expert
• Expert at integrating forms and plug ins
• Solid knowledge of Thesis Framework
• Comfortable with basic PHP
• Some familiarity with #.Net and MS tools
• Artistic background
• Experience working with dynamic, template driven web site designs
• Familiarity with the real estate and or mortgage industries
• Gather feedback from marketing design and technical staff on Web site development needs
• Assist Developers in building user interface applications using various programming and scripting languages
• Assist in project planning and Web site design
• Optimize content and site structures based on proven SEO strategies

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 2 – 3 years’ work experience as a Web Producer at an Internet Company, Design Agency or Web Production Company.
