Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design normalized and denormalized data models for application performance.
- Optimize queries using indexing, execution plans, and partitioning.
- Implement high availability solutions (Always On, Clustering, Replication, Mirroring).
- Manage database migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate databases efficiently.
- Mentor junior SQL developers and provide best practice guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development and administration.
- Strong expertise in T‑SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database partitioning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Hands‑on knowledge of ETL processes using SSIS.
- Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud-based SQL solutions (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle large‑scale databases.
Note:
The candidate must have a minimum of 1+ years of MSSQL Lead experience.
