Salary Range
: $110,982 - $155,376 - $199,769 (Pay scale information is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any selected candidate or employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education, qualifications, and other factors. The Business Systems Analyst V is a liaison between end‑users/clients and the Med Impact Business and Technology teams. The position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the most complex business systems and user needs. Formulates system solutions to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

• Interview end‑users/customers to define business requirements for complex software modifications and enhancements.
• Meet with internal and external clients to discuss enhancement requests as needed.
• Translate business requirements by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating needs into functional specifications.
• Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications.
• Facilitate design sessions with business and technical resources to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business.
• Consult with technical teams on design and database issues.
• Offer recommendations and suggestions for process improvements to optimize assigned products and systems.
• Define and document requirements business rules to assist in the development of software specifications to include system requirements, flow charts, report mock‑ups, and business rules.
• Drive and/or lead projects to completion and maintain accountability for assigned projects.
• Work with business stakeholders to develop project plans, prioritize project tasks, and provide regular status updates on project progress to management and stakeholders.
• Develop business processes that ensure developed application meets all project requirements.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, accurate to defined specifications and within budget.
• Perform user acceptance testing on software enhancements before they are released to Production.
• Work with IT software development teams and QA staff as needed.
• Work with Med Impact business and technical teams as well as vendor teams to support any technical changes and/or resolve any issues for the assigned products they support.
• Utilizing technical and business knowledge of Med Impact supported products, provide technical consultation services to customers relating to the company’s business processes, system requirements, and other technical issues.
• Mentor and provide functional work direction to less experienced Business Systems Analysts.

• Execute an internal and external client facing role requiring excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written).
• Manage difficult or emotional client situations; respond promptly to client needs.
• Solicit client feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance from clients.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  BS/BA and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 4 years of SME in respective areas.

  Skills:
  
  Knowledge of Visio, Golden 32/TOAD for Oracle, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Secure CRT, Design software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Unified Modeling Language;
  Oracle and SQL Server databases; JAVA;
  Online transaction processing (OLTP); AIX/Solaris; integrated development platforms; relational databases and client‑server concepts; SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS);
  Tableau; familiarity with Apache Super Set.
