Salary Range: $130-145k Annual

Position Summary: The IT Manager is the senior-most IT leader for DeWitt Companies, reporting directly to the CEO and managing the IT team. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for the strategy, security, administration, and support of the company's technology infrastructure and services. The position works closely with employees and managers across all locations, providing technical leadership while overseeing user support, budgeting, procurement, and technology projects that support organizational goals.

  • Develop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with business goals and operational needs.
  • Manage all corporate computer hardware, software, infrastructure, and multi‑site network systems.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop IT resources.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the security and integrity of data. Ensure system uptime, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee Help Desk, ensure efficient and responsive troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. Ensure end‑users receive accurate and timely technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while managing IT governance and risk mitigation protocols. Oversee cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Analyze IT infrastructure and system performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
  • Lead IT strategic planning efforts including, but not limited to, the identification and evaluation of new technologies, the prioritization of IT initiatives and the management of IT systems to help transform the business to meet digital opportunities and emerging threats.
  • Be a strong financial steward and ensure IT needs are in alignment with budget.
  • Evaluate technology risks and effectively communicate them to Leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external IT vendors to complete projects, resolve problems, and build relationships.
  • Assist with designing and administering end‑user training and intercompany tools.
  • Facilitate IT security audits, litigation, and investigations.
  • Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
  • Responsible for compliance with IT regulations involving privacy, security, and other controls.
  • Support the business, culture, and customer needs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance IT infrastructure.
  • Protect and mitigate liability and provide early alerts of challenges to the Leadership Team.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience as a hands‑on, full‑spectrum IT Specialist, IT Manager, or similar role.
  • Extensive technical experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud computing, network administration, system configuration, software deployment, cybersecurity, and hardware support.
  • Highly technical, hands‑on leader who can competently perform, troubleshoot, and oversee the responsibilities of the IT staff they manage.
  • Ability and willingness to step in directly during critical incidents, complex technical issues, staffing shortages, or other operational needs.
  • Strong understanding of how the organization’s infrastructure, systems, applications, vendors, and IT processes work together.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, network systems, and end‑user support.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and decision‑making skills.
  • Effective leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, delegate, develop employees, and build trust.
