To drive impactful machine learning initiatives, the full-time remote Lead Data Scientist will build, deploy, and enhance models for a two-sided rental marketplace, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
Key responsibilities- Translate business and marketplace challenges into actionable ML objectives and measurement plans
- Own the end-to-end process of model development, from feature engineering to A/B testing and monitoring
- Communicate technical findings and model tradeoffs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 4+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production
- A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in the full model development lifecycle
- Familiarity with ML libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, or Py Torch
- Strong grounding in statistical learning, experimental design, and model evaluation
