Role OverviewA Senior IT Manager is responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure operations and end-user support. This includes managing Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, Azure cloud services, and Office 365 integrations. The role involves supervising Desktop Engineering, directing Help Desk functions, and implementing endpoint management tools to ensure system reliability and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee infrastructure management, including patching, backup, performance tuning, and security compliance.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and identity controls.
- Lead cloud initiatives with Azure, focusing on resource provisioning and security.
- Supervise desktop deployment, configuration, and endpoint management tools.
- Ensure effective help desk operations, policies, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce policies and respond to incidents.
- Mentor technical staff, foster continuous improvement, and align IT services with business goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in management.
- Expertise in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, SCCM/Intune, and ITSM tools.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator, MCSA/MCSE, or ITIL preferred.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
