Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior IT Manager to lead and manage enterprise infrastructure operations and end-user support services. This role demands deep hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Server technologies, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365
, and Desktop Engineering
, along with strategic oversight of the Help Desk function. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure system reliability, and deliver exceptional user support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the administration and optimization of Microsoft Server environments
, including patching, backup, and performance tuning. - Manage and maintain Active Directory architecture, group policies, and identity/access controls.
- Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives using Microsoft Azure
, including resource provisioning, cost optimization, and security compliance. - Administer Office 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Direct the Desktop Engineering team in deploying, configuring, and maintaining end‑user devices and software.
- Implement and manage endpoint management tools (e.g.,
SCCM
, Intune
) for patching, compliance, and asset tracking. - Lead the Help Desk function to ensure timely resolution of technical issues, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and enforce IT support policies, escalation procedures, and knowledge base documentation.
Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with Info Sec teams to enforce infrastructure security policies and conduct vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor and respond to system/network security incidents and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to align IT services with business goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
