Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise/Cloud environments.
- Design Splunk architecture including Forwarders, Indexers, Search Heads, and Clusters
. - Integrate Splunk with SAS Metadata, Workspace, Grid, and Web/Application Servers
. - Build dashboards and alerts for SAS job performance, infrastructure health, and system utilization.
- Develop SPL queries for root cause analysis, trend analysis, and incident investigation.
- Implement audit logging, user activity monitoring, and compliance reporting.
- Support GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.
- Optimize log ingestion, indexing, retention, and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with SAS administrators and infrastructure teams to improve platform reliability.
- Prepare architecture documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready validation documents.
- Experience with Life Sciences / Pharma / GxP environments
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Understanding of SRE, Dev Ops, and Observability concepts
- Experience with SIEM integrations and audit reporting
