this is a short-term contract opportunity (max duration of 2 months). Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to drive up to 50 miles to assigned work locations.
we are seeking a field technician to provide onsite technical support across multiple business locations within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality end-user support, resolving technical issues, installing and maintaining it equipment, and ensuring a positive customer experience through responsive and professional service.
technical skills- pos point of sales experience
- retail store working experience
- plug and play device install
- hardware troubleshooting and repair (pcs, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices, servers).
- basic technical trouble shooting skills
- ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- time management
- manage checklist document
- strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for helping users.
- ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers.
- ability to provide status updates and manage customer expectations according to sla requirements.
- check in and delivering pictures and documentation.
- experience using ticketing systems to document, track, and manage installs.
- following standard operating procedures (sops) and knowledge management practices.

the rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
