Technical Writer

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Technical Writer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in San Diego, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and editing a variety of technical documents for a manufacturing team. You will collaborate with technical experts to gather information and translate it into clear, concise procedures for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring all materials conform to company quality standards.

• Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for the manufacturing team
• Meet and interact with various users and technical experts to gather data for documentation
• Research and translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users
• Document engineering processes and specifications
• Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements
• Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to stay organized and track progress
• Ability to reach out to new people to ask for input and gather information
• Ability to understand engineers and translate their knowledge so that manufacturing associates can follow
• Willingness to learn new things quickly

• Prior knowledge in clean room environments and FDA controlled industries
