Accelint is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Dev Ops / Platform Engineer (Level II) to build on ongoing modernization efforts for the US Navy with enabling microservices to be rapidly built, tested, fielded, and integrated to container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools and processes. This role is for folks who like being close to the work—building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different.

U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
• Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable
• Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
• Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
• Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks

• Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one

• CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with:
  • Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
  • Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Open Shift, Helm)
  • CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Git Lab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation
  • Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
• Demonstrated experience with
  • Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
