Windows & Linux System Administrator with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Windows & Linux System Administrator to support a company focused on secure Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) environments and mission-critical network operations supporting NIWC Pacific . This position is on-site in San Diego, CA . The Windows & Linux System Administrator will maintain and secure Windows and Linux infrastructure, support systems engineering initiatives, and implement automation solutions across secure environments.

* Administer and maintain Windows 11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across secure environments
* Develop, maintain, and execute Power Shell and Bash scripts to automate system administration tasks
* Support infrastructure engineering efforts, including technical design reviews and implementation of new capabilities
* Ensure compliance with DISA security requirements through STIG implementation, patch management, and system hardening
* Utilize Ansible playbooks for automation and assist with asset management, SOP development, procurement activities, and equipment logistics

Required Qualifications for the Windows & Linux System Administrator include:
* 3+ years of experience administering Windows systems
* 3+ years of experience administering RHEL systems
* Experience developing and utilizing Power Shell and Bash scripting
* Experience with the IAVM process, including STIG implementation and patch management
* Experience with Ansible automation and endpoint security preferred
* Active Secret Security Clearance
* IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP Compensation for the Windows & Linux System Administrator include:
