Service Now ITAM SME (SAM / HAM)
Location:
San Diego, CA (Remote)
Experience:
8+ years IT experience; 5+ years Service Now ITAM implementation experience
Seeking an experienced Service Now ITAM SME to lead enterprise-scale SAM Pro, HAM Pro, CMDB, and Asset Lifecycle Management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional expertise in Service Now ITAM, integrations, automation, governance, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end Service Now SAM Pro & HAM Pro implementations.
- Gather requirements and design scalable ITAM solutions and asset lifecycle processes.
- Integrate ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, ITSM, Procurement, and Finance.
- Manage software licensing, entitlements, compliance, reclamation, and optimization.
- Design integrations with SCCM/MECM, Intune, Active Directory, SAP/Oracle/Coupa, Azure, and AWS.
- Develop automation using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, Business Rules, and JavaScript.
- Establish ITAM/CMDB governance, data standards, reconciliation, and normalization.
- Create executive dashboards, KPIs, compliance reports, and audit support processes.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
- Lead workshops, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
