We are seeking an experienced
Infor LN Functional Consultant with 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Infor LN/Baan , specifically within manufacturing and enterprise planning environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), forecasting, planning cycles, supply-demand balancing, and planning master data management .
The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, optimizing, and supporting Infor LN planning processes to improve manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and optimize Infor LN planning processes supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Lead planning initiatives involving MPS, MRP, forecasting, and supply-demand balancing .
- Configure and maintain LN planning parameters, item planning data, planning horizons, order policies, and supply sources .
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of planning master data required for effective MRP execution.
- Analyze and resolve planning issues including material shortages, incorrect planning signals, capacity constraints, and supply-demand mismatches .
- Perform root‑cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions for planning and manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with production planners, procurement teams, manufacturing stakeholders, supply chain teams, and business users .
- Translate business requirements into effective Infor LN functional solutions.
- Support Infor LN implementations, enhancements, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Assist with planning process standardization across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Validate planning outputs and ensure alignment between system configuration and business processes.
- Provide functional support, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business and technical teams.
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Infor LN or Baan .
- Strong functional experience in manufacturing and enterprise planning .
- Deep expertise in:
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Planning Cycles
- Forecast Consumption
- Supply & Demand Balancing
- Strong understanding of Infor LN planning master data and dependencies .
- Experience with:
- Lead times
- Order policies
- Planners
- Supply sources
Planning parameters - Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes.
- Experience troubleshooting MRP/planning exceptions, shortages, capacity issues, and incorrect planning signals .
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in multi‑site or global manufacturing environments .
- Experience with large-scale Infor LN implementations or transformation projects.
- Exposure to manufacturing planning, procurement, inventory, and production processes.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
