Financial Systems Analyst

The Financial Systems Analyst will support the administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of financial ERP systems, with a focus on project setup, project building, payroll, and financial operations.

This role will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to ensure the ERP is properly configured, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.

• Configure and maintain financial ERP systems, including JAMIS or Deltek Costpoint.
• Build and set up projects within the ERP, ensuring all required financial and operational information is properly configured.
• Manage project setup, including project structures, billing, accounting, labor, and other project-related requirements.
• Support payroll processes within the ERP, including payroll setup, processing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot ERP issues and identify appropriate solutions to financial, project, payroll, and accounting system problems.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to users on ERP functionality, processes, and system updates.
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting for ERP changes and enhancements.
• Maintain accurate system configurations, documentation, and procedures.
• Support reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation activities within the ERP.
• Assist with system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and data accuracy within financial systems.
• Coding or scripting experience is a major plus, particularly experience used to enhance, automate, integrate, or troubleshoot financial systems.

• Hands-on experience with JAMIS or Deltek Costpoint.
• Hands-on experience with project building and project setup within an ERP system.
• Hands-on experience supporting payroll within an ERP system.
• Experience troubleshooting financial ERP systems.
• Experience training and supporting ERP users.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting processes, and project-based financial operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.

• Experience with coding, scripting, or software development.
• Experience with ERP reporting and data analysis.
• Experience in a government contracting or project-based environment.
