Systems Administrator / Endpoint Engineer

Our client is entering an exciting phase of technology modernization, and they’re looking for a hands-on Systems Administrator/Endpoint Engineer to help lead the way. In this role, you’ll play a key part in a major enterprise systems migration, keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly while supporting the people who depend on it every day. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, building automation, and working across teams to get things done – with the added bonus of a strong path toward a permanent position for the right candidate.

• Job Type: Contract (6+ months, with potential conversion to a permanent position)

• Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite initially, transitioning to Hybrid)

• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45 - 55/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Manage, support, and troubleshoot enterprise systems and applications
• Deploy applications and manage devices, including enrollment and lifecycle management
• Create scripts and automation using Power Shell to streamline processes
• Support a large-scale systems migration and adoption initiative
• Build queries, reports, and documentation using tools like Smartsheet and Excel

What Gets You the Job:

• Solid experience as a Systems Administrator with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for application deployment and device management
• Experience with Tanium for endpoint management, scripting, and device provisioning
• Proficiency in Power Shell scripting for automation and process improvement
• Ability to pass the client’s background check, drug screening, and vaccination verification requirements to work onsite
