Program Director

GovCIO LLC seeks a Program Director to lead complex federal IT and digital transformation programs. You'll oversee multiple agile software, cloud, cybersecurity, and data analytics projects, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets are met. Partner with federal stakeholders to modernize legacy systems, drive innovation, and improve mission outcomes. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, risk and financial management, and status reporting.

You'll foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture while mentoring staff and supporting continuous improvement across high-impact government programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple federal IT and digital transformation programs and projects
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality across agile software, cloud, cybersecurity, and data initiatives
• Develop and execute program strategies aligned with federal customer missions and Gov
• CIO goals
• Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams, providing coaching and mentorship
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues; implement corrective actions
• Serve as primary liaison with federal stakeholders, communicating status, risks, and outcomes
• Oversee financial management, forecasting, and resource planning for assigned programs
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, metrics, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with contractual, security, and regulatory requirements in federal environments
