Position: Systems Engineer II with Security Clearance
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a candidate with Red Hat Open Shift administrator experience to oversee the health, performance, and stability of Open Shift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government. We are looking for a professional with relevant experience and a desire to work as part of a small, agile team supporting existing applications.

This role offers a strong opportunity to expand technical skills while making a meaningful impact on U.S. Government efforts. This position is 100% onsite. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
· Deploy and manage Red Hat Open Shift clusters for on-premises environments.
· Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors.
· Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster.
· Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable. Why Work For ISS? Requirements Clearance Level Secret Certifications (IAT Level II) One of the following:
CySA+ Security+ CCNA - Security GICSP GSEC SSCP Required Skills
* 1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying Open Shift environments

* 3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes

* Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) or years of experience
Desired Skills
* Proficient in Open Shift and Rancher

* Kubernetes fundamentals

* Linux administration (especially RHEL)

* Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) experience
