Systems Engineer – Level III

In this role, you’ll contribute to secure software engineering,Dev Sec Ops , and systems integration across DoD environments, working alongside engineers and operators to deliver resilient, forward-leaning solutions in support of national defense.

About the role:

PMAT is seeking a Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer (Systems Engineer – Level III) to support the engineering and integration of mission-critical software capabilities across containerized, virtual-machine, cloud-based, and PaaS environments. In this role, you’ll work across complex DoD environments and multiple security domains, supporting secure software delivery, Dev Sec Ops  pipelines, systems interoperability, and capabilities designed to operate in challenging DDIL, afloat, and ashore environments.

• Support full-lifecycle software development across containerized, virtual-machine, and cloud-based architectures.
• Support software engineering and delivery across Unclassified, Secret,andTop Secret security domains.
• Configure and integrate automated security testing tools within CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning.
• Support Dev Sec Ops pipelines  and associated security quality gates within highly regulated DoD environments.
• Engineer, integrate, and troubleshoot interoperable software systems supporting critical defense platforms.
• Support software capabilities operating within DDIL, afloat, and ashore PaaS environments.
• Support interoperability across Navy ACS, USMC CHE,andarchitecturesdesigned for Five Eyes (FVEY) partner interoperability.
• Work within Agile software development environments to support the delivery and integration of mission capabilities.
