Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
Trust Think is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the engineering and modernization of cryptographic systems. You'll work across the lifecycle, from architecture, modeling, and simulation through software integration, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities may include:- Designing and documenting system architectures, interfaces, and operational flows
- Developing system models, diagrams, and engineering artifacts using SysML and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
- Performing modeling and simulation to analyze system behavior, interactions, and performance
- Working with cryptographic systems, key management, and secure communications
- Supporting cryptographic modernization efforts, including the transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and crypto-agile architectures
- Developing and integrating application software, particularly in C++
- Supporting integration, testing, and deployment of new capabilities
- Solving complex systems problems in support of national security missions
- Working with specialized cryptographic equipment and key-loading environments
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- At least 4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience with system architecture, development processes, interfaces, and technical modeling/diagramming
- Experience with SysML, MBSE, modeling, or simulation
- Working knowledge of cryptography, cybersecurity, or secure systems
Experience with SKLs, ECUs, key management systems, cryptographic devices, or PQC is a plus, but not required. The position level will be based on experience.
