We are currently seeking an ASL interpreter. The role involves providing sign language interpretation services in various settings, working with individuals who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, and/or oral. The goal is to empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.

• Effectively interpret between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
• Maintain compliance with any applicable licensure and certification requirements
• Adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct guidelines
• Background check and/or drug screening may be required
• Complete assigned tasks, duties, projects, and paperwork promptly and within guidelines
• Quickly learn and implement new technologies
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment
• Willingness to undertake additional duties and assignments regularly
• Understanding of deaf culture, social experiences of deaf and hard of hearing persons, and current pedagogical trends
• Proficient in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and internet use
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Computer or Laptop with Windows 10 or higher
• Steady wired internet connection with minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps
• Webcam
• USB wired headset
• Backdrop with a solid, contrasting color such as royal blue, charcoal, or bright green
