Senior Litigation Counsel

Overview

Senior Litigation Counsel or Partner-Level Attorney to join ERISA and Financial Services litigation team in San Diego. A nationally recognized plaintiff-side law firm handles sophisticated, high-value class actions against major corporations and financial institutions. This role is primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility and offers significant leadership responsibility within a respected plaintiff-side practice handling impactful, precedent-setting matters.

• Lead and support complex ERISA and financial services class action matters
• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Develop litigation strategy and oversee case progression
• Supervise and mentor associates and junior attorneys
• Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Manage case deadlines, workflow, and billing responsibilities
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices

• Minimum 3+ years of federal litigation experience (more senior candidates encouraged to apply)
• ERISA class action experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing cases and/or supervising attorneys is a plus
• Exposure to financial services or financial products litigation is valued
• Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Active California Bar license in good standing
