Sigelman & Associates, an AV-rated San Diego plaintiffs’ firm consistently recognized among the Best Law Firms in America, seeks a Law Clerk to assist in the preparation and litigation of complex medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases. The firm handles a select number of high-value matters, often involving childbirth and other brain injury medical negligence claims.
The firm is led by Ken Sigelman, an attorney and physician who has been repeatedly listed in Best Lawyers in America for his excellence in medical malpractice and personal injury litigation.
The position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys on complex, high-stakes cases, gaining hands-on experience in pretrial discovery, trial/arbitration/mediation preparation, and exposure to cutting-edge medical and legal issues. For the right candidate, this position can evolve into a long-term attorney role after bar admission.
Qualifications
- Current law student (3L) or recent law school graduate awaiting bar results.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and research skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Interest in medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury litigation.
- Background or experience in medicine, nursing, EMT, or other healthcare fields is a significant plus.

Compensation
