Supply Technician

The Supply Technician is responsible for handling specific technical supply management duties, including inventory control, storage, cataloging, and property utilization within Navy supply operations. It requires familiarity with Naval Supply systems, policies, and procedures, as well as analytical skills to resolve logistical issues. Aviation Supply Specialists focus on meeting aviation-related logistical needs through functions such as financial and inventory management, material handling, facility oversight, and requisition processing, ensuring timely and accurate customer support.
This position is Full Time, and job duties are performed onsite at Marine Corp Station Miramar located in San Diego, California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- This position involves validating and processing customer requisitions, managing material delivery, and ensuring compliance with government and Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Procurement, material handling, and fiscal accounting procedures duties are handled routinely in an efficient manner.
- Provide full logistical support—including ordering, expediting, warehousing, and maintenance—while maintaining accurate records for all aircraft equipment, materials, and financial transactions.
- Five years' aircraft supply experience or equivalent.
- Must have completed the Naval Aviation Maintenance Administration Course and the Data Analysis Course, or a military/civilian equivalent.
- Must have knowledge in the Aviation 3M system and IMRL support actions.
- This position requires normal physical functions.
- Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.
- Frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.
- Work may be performed on top of or under equipment in cramped or awkward positions.

Hourly Pay Rate: $48.47 (this pay rate does not include health and welfare)
