Procurement Executive | Buyer | US Shift | Vendor Management

Key Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and administrative activities, including order release, acknowledgements, and open order reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate part numbers, pricing updates, internal notes, and stock/non-stock updates within the Epicor ERP system.
• Update vendor records and vendor contact information; maintain data hygiene across the ERP.
• Drive proactive vendor call management through a structured cadence of vendor check-ins, rather than reactive follow-up.
• Track and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance, including root-cause analysis and corrective action plans for underperforming vendors.
• Track and improve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance, reducing partial or delayed shipments end-to-end.
• Conduct regular vendor performance review calls, supported by structured scorecards.
• Support process improvements SOP documentation and dashboard/reporting automation for the account.
• Participate in monthly performance review meetings and ad hoc conference calls with Fairbank stakeholders.

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, vendor management, or buyer roles.
• Prior exposure to the American aftermarket / industrial equipment industry is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system (Epicor preferred); comfortable with data entry, part maintenance, and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; confident on client-facing calls with US stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset — able to track KPIs such as OTD and OTIF and translate data into corrective actions.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Teams for reporting and collaboration.
• Willingness and ability to work the US shift (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST) on a consistent basis.
• Strong follow-up discipline, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
