Domestic Logistics Coordinator

Saturn Freight Systems is seeking an experienced Domestic Freight Coordinator to join our growing operations team. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated logistics professional with a minimum of 2–3 years of domestic freight forwarding experience and the ability to manage shipments from initial customer request through final delivery.

This position requires someone who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers and carriers, and ensure every shipment is handled accurately, efficiently, and on time.

• Coordinate domestic freight shipments from quote through final delivery.
• Prepare accurate freight quotes and secure transportation at competitive rates.
• Route shipments using Agent, Forward Air, and agent business networks.
• Book and coordinate shipments with both commercial airline carriers and integrated carriers.
• Monitor shipments proactively and provide timely updates to customers.
• Respond promptly to customer emails, phone calls, and shipment requests.
• Troubleshoot shipment delays or service issues and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and operational records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and carrier partners.
• Ensure all shipments meet customer requirements and company service standards.

• Minimum 2–3 years of domestic freight forwarding or transportation logistics experience required.
• Proven experience managing shipments from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of domestic air freight operations.
• Experience routing freight through Agent, Forward Air, and agent business networks.
• Experience booking shipments with commercial airlines and integrated carriers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics software.
• Competitive salary of $50,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience.
