Supply Chain Manager

10+ years of experience working within supply chain in a manufacturing environment Bachelors degree Experience working with any ERP system LEAN experience Experience supporting forging or machining supply chain commodities Experience using Baan Advanced degree

This role is responsible for developing and executing supplier strategies that support operational goals, supply chain resilience, and long-term business growth. The individual creates and maintains category roadmaps, evaluates supplier capabilities and market trends, and identifies sourcing opportunities that drive competitiveness and innovation. They assess supplier capacity, scalability, and risk to support strategic sourcing decisions while ensuring continuity of supply and alignment with demand forecasts.

Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders, this person aligns supplier strategies with technical, operational, and financial objectives. They also monitor supplier performance, lead risk mitigation efforts, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen the overall supply base. Through proactive supplier management and cross-functional collaboration, they help ensure a reliable, scalable, and high-performing supply chain.
