Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Purchasing/Material Planner for a growing energy technology startup in Sorrento Valley. This role will manage day‑to‑day purchasing, supplier coordination, and material planning while helping develop scalable processes to support R&D and manufacturing.

• Manage RFQs, supplier quotes, purchase orders, pricing, lead times, and delivery follow‑up.
• Maintain material and supplier trackers and proactively identify shortages or schedule risks.
• Coordinate materials and shipments between suppliers, R&D, and manufacturing.
• Maintain BOM, pricing, purchasing, and supplier documentation.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to resolve purchasing and material issues.
• Support continuous improvement of purchasing and material planning processes.

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or material planning experience. Manufacturing, hardware, or technical purchasing experience preferred. Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; ERP/MRP experience preferred. Experience with BOMs and ability to understand engineering drawings or technical documentation. Strong supplier management, organization, communication, and follow‑through. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
