If you are searching for a career that you can be proud of, we are currently looking for a Sandblaster to join our Ship Repair team in San Diego.

• Operate sandblasting equipment, including compressors and nozzles
• Prepare metal surfaces in accordance with SSPC standards
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Paint parts and equipment using various tools and techniques

• 1–3 years of experience in sandblasting and painting on military or commercial vessels
• Knowledge of paint processes and OSHA standards
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment and obtain a DBIDS credential
• Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail

• Physically demanding work requiring strength, endurance, and ability to work in various positions and environments

• Experience with various paint processes and equipment
• Familiarity with company safety rules and OSHA standards

Full–Time Salary Range: $59,800 - $91,645

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
