WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION

As a Service Technician for the LENTON product line, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and assembling LENTON threading machines, as well as related equipment and tools across Europe. You will provide hands-on training and guidance to fabricators and construction site personnel, ensuring adherence to nVent's threading quality standards. This role also involves supporting the commercial team and customers throughout Europe with technical service and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate within the service technician team to deliver high-quality support.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, independently or in consultation with the service team.

* Provide remote technical assistance to distributors and construction sites.

* Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment both in-house and at customer locations.

* Manage inventory of machines and spare parts.

* Advise and support regional teams with technical information and machine development.

* Coordinate with the Sales Director regarding machine availability and updates.

* Submit monthly service reports and detailed visit summaries to the Sales Director.

* Ensure service shop operations comply with local safety regulations and standards.

* Execute installation, assembly, commissioning, and start-up of equipment.

* Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and controls.

* Conduct on-site training and equipment installation at construction projects across Europe.

* Prepare tensile test samples and oversee testing procedures.

* Perform quality control checks at distributor locations and project sites to ensure compliance with nVent's certification and quality standards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering maintenance or technical service.

* Strong mechanical engineering background; knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems is preferred.

* Relevant Health & Safety certifications are an advantage.

* Fluent in English and Dutch.

* Valid driver's license.

* Ability to work from the local company office/warehouse.

* Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe to support customer needs.
