Maintenance; Mid Level

Maintenance Technician II, 1st Shift, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri

Payrate: $26.00

Maintain cleanliness of the plant and provide routine maintenance as required to ensure a safe and organized environment. Key responsibilities / essential functions include:

• Perform daily inspections of ceiling tiles and plant lighting
• Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and emergency lighting
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on designated machines and equipment
• Purchase safety and manufacturing supplies as requested
• Clean equipment, walls and flooring to meet manufacturing standards
• Perform simple building repairs including wall patching and painting
• Coordinate work done by outside vendors
• Perform quality assurance checks
• Adhere to quality policy in accordance with ISO requirements
• Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent and six months of work experience, preferably in a production environment.

Able to communicate, receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions for duties.

Basic math and computer skills are required.

Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.

Must be capable of steadily using their hands. Must be able to read and write simple statements. Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment.
