Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $62.230 - $80.300 - $89.930
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
WhatYou Will Do
Responsible for the development, direction, coordination, and evaluation of employee and leader learning programs and applied learning experiences. Creates and manages partnerships with learning programs to achieve workforce development strategic priorities. Develops collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external learning program partners. Supervises department staff including hiring, performance management and ongoing development.
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree in business administration, healthcare, learning development, or related field.
- 5 Years direct patient care experience as a licensed professional in a clinical or hospital setting.
- 5 Years experience designing, developing, and implementing large scale training programs; inclusive of project or program management in developing leadership skills, knowledge, and workforce development.
- 4 Years experience working with adult learners.
- 2 Years leadership experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Various-No accreditation board

- Learning Experience Design certification is required within first 6 months of hire/transfer into this position.

- Program Management

Creates sustainable, scalable, and inclusive learning programs in support of workforce development needs.
Establishes and manages internal and external partnerships with learning programs to achieve workforce development strategic priorities.
Evaluates affiliation requests and agreements for efficacy and alignment with Sharp Health Care priorities.
Negotiates, manages, and monitors compliance of contracts with learning programs review by legal department.
Administers applied learning experiences (e.g., clinical groups, mentorships, capstone) in collaboration with Sharp Health Care stakeholders and workgroup members.
Provides oversight of learning program faculty development in collaboration with department staff.
Creates applied learning experiences to augment knowledge from learning programs.
Develops and delivers evidence and standards-based curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts to support applied learning experiences.
Manages electronic communication and websites for currency and accuracy.
Guides in the development of learning evaluation strategy including outcome measures and monitors and analyzes achievement of benchmarks and goals.
Uses data to guide decision making about learning programs including partnerships and program enhancements.
Provides periodic and annual reports of learning program activities and outcomes.
- Human Resources
Creates and fosters positive work environment.
Assist leadership in hiring, supervising staff, monitoring performance, provides ongoing coaching, guidance and as needed corrective action.
Collaborates with staff to develop growth-focused performance goals.
Provides staff feedback to leadership and assists with performance appraisals within defined timeframe.
Establishes and monitors staff workload, schedules, and attendance; maintains coverage for optimal service and workflow.
Assesses staff knowledge, skill and training needs, ensures staff receives information and training to achieve optimal performance.
- Regulatory Compliance
Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements related to experiential learning and learning program affiliations e.g., CA Board of Registered Nursing and other discipline/licensing and certification requirements.
Ensures awareness of local, state, and national accreditation standards that impact learning programs.
