Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Manager

Location:

Hybrid | San Diego / 1-2 days in office per work Base: $120K–$135K (DOE)

If you’ve led AP/AR within a manufacturing, CPG, or product-driven environment and understand the complexity of chargebacks, deductions, and high-volume distribution — this may be worth a conversation.

I’m partnering with a nationally recognized, mission-driven consumer brand with international distribution seeking an experienced AP/AR Manager to elevate and lead finance operations.

This is not a transactional role — it’s a leadership opportunity supporting a multi-channel business with operational complexity and visibility to senior finance leadership.

What You’ll Impact:
  • Lead and develop an 8-person- 4 person AR 4 person AP (tenured team)
  • Oversee full-cycle payables and receivables in a distribution-driven model
  • Manage vendor relationships, customer deductions, and chargeback activity
  • Strengthen internal controls and support month-end close
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance and operations
  • Drive ERP optimization and scalable process improvements
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and authorized purchasers (mid volume of internal customers) for approvals and transaction accuracy.
Ideal Background:
  • 5+ years accounting/finance experience
  • 3+ years leading teams
  • Manufacturing, CPG, or product-based experience highly valued (not required)
  • Experience with chargebacks and deductions a strong plus but not a deal breaker

Base Salary: $120,000–$135,000 (DOE) (lucrative year end bonus)
