Job SummaryAs the Production Technician, you will conduct manufacturing verification, engineering validation, functional performance, and ground fault isolation tests on production units. The role involves troubleshooting both digital and analog circuitry to the component level, determining causes of malfunctions, and recommending adjustments or repairs to restore product functionality.
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Overtime:
Ability to work overtime Monday through Friday and occasionally on weekends.
- Set up and operate standard and specially designed test equipment.
- Identify and acquire fixtures or equipment needed for unique testing requirements.
- Calibrate, align, adjust, and perform final functional test for each unit according to specifications, test procedures, and engineering drawings.
- Log production test data, including work order, model number, serial number, test status, and failure mode.
- Diagnose and determine the cause and remedy for defective assemblies, parts, and components; document defects to ensure reproducibility.
- Troubleshoot to component level for both analog and digital circuitry.
- Report increasing trends in failures to appropriate parties and initiate root‑cause investigations.
- Perform physical inspection of product to ensure compliance with specifications and cosmetic requirements.
- Operate equipment and instruments safely, following proper procedures to prevent damage.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience. Technician levels 3–5 vary based on experience and scope of responsibilities.
- Electronic Technician Certificate and/or AS Degree in Electronic Engineering.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. and legal authorization to access export‑controlled information and source code.
- Availability to work overtime.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and technical acumen.
- Experience in a production test and troubleshooting environment.
- Solid background in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment to the component level.
- Experience with standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, RMS meters, high‑power conversion equipment, etc.
- Ability to identify surface‑mount and through‑hole components, including values and color codes.
- Experience using mechanical hand tools.
- Proficiency in moderately complex math and ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures.
- Efficient MS Word and Excel user.

Requirements include talking and hearing, standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms.
