Our client is seeking an experienced Assembler 4 to support the assembly of highly complex systems and components in a manufacturing environment. This individual will perform technical assembly work, conduct quality inspections, support production milestones, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

Must-Haves
  • 2–3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical vocational education and/or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience following assembly procedures, work instructions, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Ability to perform quality inspections on components and completed assemblies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a process-driven environment
  • Comfortable with data entry and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with precision optical components
  • Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and/or electronic tools
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical assembly of high-precision components and systems
  • Ensure production milestones are met during each shift
  • Provide technical support and leadership within assigned work area/cabin
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment

    Support new product introductions and process implementations
  • Identify production issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Complete advanced data entry and production documentation
Shift Overview

Multiple shifts are available for this position. Candidates can be considered for either:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (includes a 10% shift differential)

Note: Candidates hired for 2nd shift must complete approximately one month of training on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) before transitioning to their assigned schedule.

Candidates should be comfortable with their designated shift, commuting to the San Diego facility, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
