Manufacturing Support Lead
Now hiring for a Manufacturing Support Lead in San Diego, CA. Pay rate: $26.75 – $40.75 per hour. Shift: 2nd shift | 2:30 PM – 11 PM. This opportunity lets you oversee warehouse operations, support your team, and help ensure products move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the supply chain.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with SharePoint and manufacturing systems preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Duties:
- Supervise daily operations in set-up and production areas.
- Lead, train, and support team members while promoting a positive work environment.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow to achieve daily goals.
- Collect and analyze production data and maintain reporting systems.
- Develop and implement standard work procedures.
- Lead high-performance teams (HPT) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve production issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Address employee concerns and assist with performance management processes.
- Perform hands-on production work alongside team members when required.
- Support ISO compliance, audits, and quality initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Physical Capabilities:
- Lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use hands and fingers for detailed work.
- Operate power tools and manufacturing equipment safely.
- Wear required PPE for the duration of the shift.
