Manufacturing Support Lead

Now hiring for a Manufacturing Support Lead in San Diego, CA. Pay rate: $26.75 – $40.75 per hour. Shift: 2nd shift | 2:30 PM – 11 PM. This opportunity lets you oversee warehouse operations, support your team, and help ensure products move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the supply chain.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with SharePoint and manufacturing systems preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Duties:

• Supervise daily operations in set-up and production areas.
• Lead, train, and support team members while promoting a positive work environment.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow to achieve daily goals.
• Collect and analyze production data and maintain reporting systems.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Lead high-performance teams (HPT) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve production issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Address employee concerns and assist with performance management processes.
• Perform hands-on production work alongside team members when required.
• Support ISO compliance, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Physical Capabilities:

• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Use hands and fingers for detailed work.
• Operate power tools and manufacturing equipment safely.
• Wear required PPE for the duration of the shift.
