Job Title

Pay Range: $33.13hr - $35.78hr

Requirements
  • Ability to work carefully with sensitive components, including cable harnesses, small, soldered parts, fibers, optical components, and mechanically aligned assemblies.
  • Ability to move independently from one task to the next while following documented instructions and meeting production priorities.
  • Ability to identify stopping points in documentation where technician review or sign-off is required.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and document issues clearly and thoroughly.
  • Ability to use computer systems to track work order progress.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing production priorities based on customer needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technicians, manufacturing engineers, and inventory control.
  • Attention to detail and basic mechanical and electrical understanding.
  • Ability to follow and interpret documentation across multiple product types.
Responsibilities
  • Build electronic, mechanical, and optical assemblies used in measurement instruments and related systems.
  • Review computer-based schedules and tasks using designated programs.
  • Check assigned Work Orders (WO) and Sales Orders (SO) and verify that required materials are available.
  • Follow assembly documentation to complete sub-assemblies, system assemblies, upgrades, or full instrument builds.
  • Perform electronic assembly tasks such as crimping, soldering, and cable installation.
  • Execute mechanical assembly using basic hand tools.
  • Perform optical alignment and calibration.
  • Install sub-assemblies into larger builds.
  • Prepare instruments or accessories for final technical review, certification, packaging, and shipment.
  • Support multiple product lines with different configurations, customer options, and upgrade requirements.
  • Create and submit appropriate Non-Conformance (Client) form requests when issues are identified.
  • Identify missing or incorrect materials, building discrepancies, fit or alignment concerns, or documentation gaps.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy while working in a fast-paced production environment.
