Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Assembler 2 based out of San Diego, CA. * Assemble and rework electronic assemblies from CCA to module and system level using common and specialized tools according to visual aids, drawings, and processes.

* Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as systems, modules, and boards.

* Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

* Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.

* Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

* Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. The ideal candidate must be willing to work 1st shift or 2nd shift. Basic Qualifications Assembler 2:
* High School diploma and 2 or more years of relevant experience and/or education.

* Related experience or ongoing advanced education (e.g. pursuing engineering degree, similar Military or vocational background, etc.) is acceptable in lieu of direct manufacturing experience.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance upon hire

* US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications Assembler 2:
* Active Secret clearance.

* SAP clearances/experience are highly preferred.

* Advanced education and/or experience assembling and troubleshooting RF and/or CNI systems.

* J-Standard solder certification, or similar experience or certifications.

* Experience with shop floor manufacturing systems (SAP, Solumina, Tableau, etc.)

* Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.

* Experience with CUI (controlled unclassified information) and COMSEC (communications security).

* Experience with FAR, ITAR, AS9100, and/or ISO 90001 rules and regulations. Health Plan, Savings Plan, Paid Time Off, and Additional Benefits, including Education Assistance and Training. #MPR Primary Level Salary Range: $43,400.00 - $72,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
